Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Shoot Manager mobile app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Shoot Manager. If you have any questions, email support@shootmanagerapp.com.

Who can use Shoot Manager

You must be at least 16 years old to use Shoot Manager. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms for that business.

Your account

• Give a real email address that you can access. It's used to sign you in and to reset your password.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password on the Profile screen and let us know.

Your data

Everything you enter in the app (shoots, clients, teammates, amounts, notes and your company logo) stays yours. You allow us to store it, process it and show it back to you only so that we can run the app for you, for example to sync it between your devices and to your Google Calendar if you turn that on. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.

Only enter information about other people, such as clients and teammates, that you're allowed to keep.

Keep your own backups

We work to keep your data safe, but we can't promise that it will never be lost. Use the Excel or JSON export on the Profile screen now and then to keep your own copy. A JSON backup can be imported back into the app.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use Shoot Manager for anything illegal, or to store content you don't have the right to store;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around the app's security or limits;
• overload, attack or disrupt the app or its servers, or use automated tools to access them;
• copy, resell or rebuild the app or its service as your own.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll email you first and tell you why.

Not financial advice

Shoot Manager adds up budgets, payments, team payouts and expenses from what you enter. These totals are there to help you keep track. They aren't accounting, tax or legal advice. You're responsible for checking them before you rely on them, for example before paying your team or filing taxes.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When you do, your use of Google's services is also covered by Google's own terms. You can disconnect at any time from the Profile screen. See the privacy policy for what the app does with this access.

Price

Shoot Manager is currently free. In the future we plan to offer a paid subscription, and some features may then be available only to subscribers. We'll tell you in the app before that happens. You'll never be charged unless you choose to subscribe, and you'll always be able to export your data, whether or not you subscribe.

Subscriptions will be bought through the App Store or Google Play, and those stores' terms will cover billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds.

Changes to the app

We keep improving Shoot Manager, so features may change, be added or be removed. We may also stop running the app. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice in the app or by email, so you have time to export your data.

Ending your use

You can stop using Shoot Manager at any time. Delete account on the Profile screen deletes your account and all your data. If you can't access the app, see how to request account deletion.

No warranty

We build Shoot Manager with care, but it's provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or right for your particular needs. Some laws don't allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, lost clients or lost data, that come from using or not being able to use Shoot Manager. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also let you know in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Shoot Manager after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
